It's already yours so go for it!

Why not make sure you have all of the things in life that are yours? Unless you really enjoy sitting back and watching others get it. There's more pleasure in getting it than just wishing for it. That body that you want is yours, those amazing body transformation results are yours, those awesome before and after pictures are yours. All you have to do is go after them.
To get them, there is no correct way to start, as long as you start. Begin with a plan. Take a moment to sit alone and think about all of the benefits and how much your life will be better once you start that fat loss plan and keep going. Jot your thoughts down as well.
Next, create your own circle of support by telling your friends. This group will help motivate by cheering you on and maybe even by joining you on this endeavor. Your chance of success is better with a buddy.
Lastly, execute! Start by whipping out your calendar and setting some dates and specific times. Once you write it down and fit exercise into your calendar you have a better chance of success as well. No need to go all out immediately, fit in 2 - 3 days your first week. Then add more the following weeks.
Remember, nothing motivates like results. Get some!

PRODUCT REVIEW: pop chips
Submitted by Peak 20 Workout on Wed, 05/01/2013 - 14:46
Folks often ask what the heck are some of the healthy snacking options for them during the day. Plenty are out there. One great selection to throw in your lunch bag is pop chips. These chips are tastier and better for you than a lot of the other chip options out there.
As in the name they are popped and not fried or baked. This is what makes them healthier and flavorful. Among their flavors are barbeque, sweet potato and jalepeno. Along with the label on the bags, check out the company’s pledge.
“our pledge: no fake colors, no fake flavors, no preservatives, no fluorescent orange fingertips, and no wiping your greasy chip hand on your jeans. no, really. we only use ingredients you can feel good about eating. and we leave out the bad stuff, like hydrogenated oils and msg, that give snacking a bad name. because popchips have no preservatives, make sure to get a good chip clip after opening the bag to keep our popped chips fresh. or better yet, just eat them all at once.”
Enjoy it alongside a Greek yogurt or even with peanut butter on the plain ones and feel good about yourself for not going to the snack machine.

Take a hike for a rearend makeover

Many of you are worried about what shape your tush will have on that upcoming summer vacation. Here's an exercise that will give you a tight butt to incorporate into your fitness program now.
This will not only sculpt your tush, but other benefits of this exercise are it is also a great way to shape up your legs, it is great for burning calories and developing cardio strength. You can do this on the days that you set aside for your cardio.
Equipment: A treadmill
-Work your way up to an incline of 12-15 at 2-3 mph
-While walking squeeze your tush with each wide stride using your heels
-Remember to keep your stomach tight. You'll keep your abs working as well
-Try this 4 times a week for 45-60 minutes.
Don't forget about your weight training on the other days. Also, grab your water bottle as hydration is super important, get your favorite tunes in your ears and go for it.
Here's to a perky bottom!

Challenge Yourself for a Change
Submitted by Peak 20 Workout on Tue, 04/30/2013 - 23:18
So are you stuck in the same old daily routine that you've had for a long long time now and not seeing any changes on the scale or even in your life? If the answer is yes, then it is time to as they say, shake things up a bit, especially since you are still holding on to your dreams and goals. Trust me it's hard to get to where you want to go by driving back and forth down the same road.
To breakthrough this trap, you must challenge yourself and stop doing whats comfortable. This doesn't only apply to body transformation goals but you can also apply this to other aspects of your life such as your career. For example, if you have been stuck in the same position, role or pay at work for years and want something new then think outside of the box, dig deep, get creative and figure out how you can break out of that rut. It may mean you have to look outside of the company for inspiration.
In regards to fatloss, there are many ways to breakthrough a training plateau. Some ways to do this are to train harder than yesterday, try a new training modality and to rest. I'm serious about the resting part. I remember a client who believed she had to work super hard in the gym 7 days a week to lose some inches. She definitely threw herself into a wall that she couldnt get over. The minute she took the advice to include rest days in her routine she noticed a change and was extremely happy.
Do something difficult and different today. See how you feel when you conquer it.

PRODUCT REVIEW: MUSCLE MILK® & MUSCLE MILK® LIGHT
Submitted by Peak 20 Workout on Sat, 09/17/2011 - 11:55
MUSCLE MILK® & MUSCLE MILK® LIGHT:
It is essential to any workout program that you refuel within 30 minutes after a workout. The goal of the post workout meal is to promote recovery and growth and to repair damaged tissue. That's why it is important also what you choose to drink or eat after a workout. Post workout drinks that I recommend are Muscle Milk and Muscle Milk Light.
Muscle Milk is for those those gym nuts who workout regulary. Muscle Milk Light is a healthy grab -n- go option (better for those who don't have it in them to workout as often as the big gym nuts).
Check out the awesome flavors of both Muscle Milk and Muscle Milk Light:
Strawberries ‘n Crème, Chocolate, Banana Creme and Cafe Latte.
For those who need a little caffeine boost. Read about Muscle Milk's new flavor Cafe Latte:
New Muscle Milk Light Café Latte has the protein and caffeine to help take you from flat to full throttle. Muscle Milk Light Café Latte is a great source of healthy sustained energy by combining caffeine with 20 grams of protein, healthy fats, good carbs and 20 essential vitamins and minerals.
New Muscle Milk Light Cafe Latte is a perfect source of healthy energy when you need it. Packed with 20 grams of protein, healthy fats, good carbs, 20 essential vitamins and minerals and, oh yeah, caffeine.
Need a late afternoon boost? Don’t settle for something packed with empty calories, new Muscle Milk Light Cafe Latte is a healthy snack option with 20 grams of protein that also packs a punch of caffeine.
